How do You Get High Blood Glucose?



Blood glucose is concentration of glucose in the blood plasm. The gucose stay in the blood plasm and flow through the blood vessel. Glucose needed by every cell to produce energy to their activity. The normal blood glucose level is ranging from 70 to 120. The higher level is alarm to serious problem called diabetes.

Glucose comes from food that you eat everyday, is also produce by liver and muscle. The major source of glucose is carbohydrate-rich food like rice, wheat, potato, and cassava. In the body, carbohydrate will be broken down into glucose by enzymes. The glucose will absorbed by intestines and than transferred to blood vessel.

Your blood carry glucose throughout the body. Insulin, hormone produced by pancreas will initiates the glucose to save the glucose in the muscle and liver cells. If your body doesn’t make enough insulin or insulin doesn’t work properly, gucose can’t be saved to the cells and make high glucose level in the blood. The high blood glucose level causing prediabetes or diabetes.

Blood glucose is important to body health, but if the level go higher will be dangerous to the body itself. You can maintain blood glucose level by monitoring your meal everyday to be free from diabetes.You must take serious attention to the high glucose level due to it will cause many serious problem in long time.
